The Ponds: Charleston area real estate photographer

I had my first Real Estate/ stock photo gig a few weeks ago for The Ponds in Summerville. It was a lot of fun to try out something different. It is easier and harder all at the same time to take photos of non moving items. I'm not going to share to many of the photos on here since I am not sure how/for what they are going to use them for. These are just 2 of the farmhouse that serves as the main building for the company. It was a full restoration project that involved moving the farm house from another location in Summerville to where it sits now and redoing pretty much everything. It is a really beautiful house.

Jack's 1st birthday: Charleston area event photographer

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of capturing this little boys 1st birthday party! He had a bunch of family and friends there to share this moment with him.

It is hard to pick out photos to blog sometimes. I took a LOT of photos for this event but I decided to go with mostly just highlighting the birthday boy.

They had a big outdoor cookout/party for him, with hot dogs, hamburgers, cake and jump house!

 

They also have some chickens which were a big hit with all the kids.

Jackson got some fun time in the bounce house too!

He had lots of help opening all of his toys from his brothers and sisters.

He really enjoyed everyone singing to him and being the center of attention!

He wasn't to sure about the cake to begin with but soon warmed up to the idea.

It was lots of fun for everyone, and I'm sure his sugar high took a long time to wear off too!

Baby Shower: Charleston area family, event photographer

A few weekends ago I had the pleasure of capturing a very special event for a very special family.

This very special family to be exact.

It was the baby shower for the soon to be newest member of this little family, Anthony Carlos.

Lots of family and friends turned up for the event. The momma, daddy and big sister to-be drove a long way to come celebrate the coming of baby Anthony (I think it was something like 10 hours!)

There was lots of good food to be had and lots of cake too. In fact one little one couldn't wait for the cake, she had to sneak some off the table when no one was looking.

She even got to eat some cake before anyone else (I guess it pays to be the only grandchild at least for a few more weeks til her little brother gets here), dirty feet and all.

Lots of presents for the newest addition.

And lots of love!

Too bad they live so far away, I would love to meet little Anthony when he is born. Thank you again for letting me capture this special event!

Emma's naming- Charleston area family event photographer

Little miss Emma had her naming ceremony last week and I had the privilege of photographing this event for the family. 

The same Rabbi that performed Emma's older brother Ben's ceremony 2 years ago also did this naming ceremony.

Emma's Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle were all in attendance for the special event.

Mom set out a breakfast spread for after the ceremony. The cereomony included lighting 2 candles and sharing wine as a family.

Of course I couldn't not share a photo of Ben and his super cute red hair (it looks like miss Emma's hair is taking after her brother).

Emma got to spend some quality time with her Grandma while everyone was getting ready for the ceremony.

Looks like someone has her Daddy wrapped around her little pinky!
