Natalie: Charleston area newborn photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing this adorable little one a few days ago. She was almost 4 weeks old and when I first arrived she was wide awake.

She did not want to go to sleep, so I managed to get some cute awake photos, but after lots of nursing time and cuddles she finally fell asleep.
We got some mom and Natalie photos (with the family dog getting in on the action too).
Then it was time for the cute sleeping newborn photos. Once she was asleep she was so easy (I'm sure she was tired after fighting sleep for a while).

Mom and Dad wanted photos with Dad's class ring and with the wedding bands. Such cute tiny fingers next to those rings.

It was a joy to take photos of little Miss Natalie and I hope to be able to work with her again as she gets older!

The perfect holiday card, sneak peak: Charleston area newborn photographer

I am in the middle of editing Miss Natalie's newborn session but I just had to share this little sneak peak. Is this not the perfect photo for a holiday card. Tiny babies and big bows just slay me!
Remember it is time to set up those sessions for your holiday cards!!

Addison modeling: Charleston area children photographer

I signed Addison up to do some boutique modeling. I figured since I can take pictures and she is stinking cute we should capitalize on that. Plus the modeling agency I went through does all the work and I just provide the photos and get to keep some super cute stuff that I can then use for my photography sessions and to make my kid cuter! So here is Addison modeling this beautiful purple flower headband for Pink & Pigtails.

I can't wait for her to get booked for more modeling sessions. If you would like to book Addison please go through Moda Munchkin and book her!

Baby Shower: Charleston area family, event photographer

A few weekends ago I had the pleasure of capturing a very special event for a very special family.

This very special family to be exact.
It was the baby shower for the soon to be newest member of this little family, Anthony Carlos.

Lots of family and friends turned up for the event. The momma, daddy and big sister to-be drove a long way to come celebrate the coming of baby Anthony (I think it was something like 10 hours!)

There was lots of good food to be had and lots of cake too. In fact one little one couldn't wait for the cake, she had to sneak some off the table when no one was looking.

She even got to eat some cake before anyone else (I guess it pays to be the only grandchild at least for a few more weeks til her little brother gets here), dirty feet and all.

Lots of presents for the newest addition.

And lots of love!

Too bad they live so far away, I would love to meet little Anthony when he is born. Thank you again for letting me capture this special event!

Emma's naming- Charleston area family event photographer

Little miss Emma had her naming ceremony last week and I had the privilege of photographing this event for the family.

The same Rabbi that performed Emma's older brother Ben's ceremony 2 years ago also did this naming ceremony.

Emma's Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle were all in attendance for the special event.
Mom set out a breakfast spread for after the ceremony. The cereomony included lighting 2 candles and sharing wine as a family.

Of course I couldn't not share a photo of Ben and his super cute red hair (it looks like miss Emma's hair is taking after her brother).

Emma got to spend some quality time with her Grandma while everyone was getting ready for the ceremony.

Looks like someone has her Daddy wrapped around her little pinky!

Thank you for another wonderful session, I can't wait to see you for your 4 month shots miss Emma!

Emma 3 months- Charleston area newborn/children photographer

As I mentioned in my last post I have the privilege of photographing Emma's naming ceremony and at the same time shooting her 3 month photos. She is so much more alert and expressive than the last time I saw her at her 2 month shoot.
I mean just look at these faces she was giving me!
How cute is that?!

She has just started giving those gummy baby smiles that every parent anxiously awaits to see.

She is also starting to hold her head up and look around. Look at those beautiful baby blues.

Someone is proving to be a great big brother too!

Emma's naming - Charleston Area children and family photographer

I had the honor of photographing little miss Emma's naming ceremony. We also used this time to do her 3 month photos while I was there. This is just a sneak peek of this session.

Look at that smile!! She had lots of great faces that I will be sharing soon.
