Charleston Family Photographer, Close friends

I like to think I have made it as a photographer when my friends start hiring me to do sessions for them. This family has been one of my closest friends for a long time and we have kids very close in age. So arranged marriages and all aside I am so excited they asked me to document their family.

I love these kids like they were my own.

Charleston Beach Photographer, Dreaming of summer

This was a fun beach session I had in my mind for a while. Luckily I have a good friend that lives right near the beach and her kids get up super duper early and I was able to talk her into bringing them out to make my vision a reality.

I made the raft myself, with a little help from my handy husband. 

How cute are these 2 little men!

I think this is the only time I have been happy that children like to wake up early.

Halloween mini sessions

We had our "annual" halloween costume party and I decided to set up a little mini session and get photos of all the kids in their halloween costumes. Boy were they all super cute!

Brotherly love, Charleston, SC newborn photographer

Camden came to me at 10 days old with his big brother. He was so cute and a good sleeper too!

How cute does he look in this bear hat.

His big brother was not too sure about getting his photo taken (he was more interested in playing with my daughter) but I have lots of tricks to get those shots that mom and dad want baby and siblings together. 

I loved his hair. I just love crazy baby hair it is the best! 

 How cute is he in the great hat. Squishy baby cheeks and lips are some of my favorite things. I just love my job, who wouldn't love squishing on newborns all day!

older newborn session Charleston, SC newborn photographer

Joseph came to me "older" than the typical newborn session. He was almost 7 weeks old when he came into the studio. He was much more awake but was so well behaved and was a great model. 

No matter the age of your "newborn" I will always try to get beautiful shots for you.

He had the cutest big brother and they were so good together. I love this shot of the 2 of them

Sweet smiles, Charleston SC newborn photography

Sweet smiley Miss Sadie came to visit me at 7 days new. She was all smiles, I do that to babies I guess! 

Look at how cute she is, She looked great in pink and yellow!

The smiles were just never ending with this little lady. I love the purple setup on her too!

She had her big sister Aria with her to watch over her, I know she will be a good big sister!

Bauman Family: Charleston Area family photographer

I just love meeting so many wonderful families through my job! These new parents were so great and little Claire was so cute!!

Walker Gender reveal family session: Charleston area family photographer

It's a BOY!!! I loved doing this session. They wanted to have a creative way to tell her family what gender they were having so we decided to incorporate it in the family session they were having. Another little boy for Andrew to play with!

I love this family! They have been clients of mine since right after I started my business. They are going to be welcoming their 2nd little bundle sometime the end of the summer and I am very excited. I hope they get me to do the newborn session! We also did a little gender reveal for her family that I will share in another post.
