It's a BOY!!! I loved doing this session. They wanted to have a creative way to tell her family what gender they were having so we decided to incorporate it in the family session they were having. Another little boy for Andrew to play with!

Ellison 1 week old: Charleston area newborn photographer

Here is my sweet little man Ellison at 1 week old! I am taking off from photography until the beginning of next year to settle into life with 2 kids but I will be back come Jan for all your photography needs. Feel free to contact me to set something up at the beginning of January.

37 weeks maternity: Charleston area family photographer

So I finally got to get my maternity photos done. Actually we are only through with half of them since my husband was working and since I am almost 38 weeks I didn't want to risk not having any in case the little man came early. We will get the whole family on Monday or Tuesday hopefully.

I do not like having my photo taken, probably why I like being the photographer, so my poor sister had a difficult time getting me to smile or not look awkward.

 

Jack's 1st birthday: Charleston area event photographer

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of capturing this little boys 1st birthday party! He had a bunch of family and friends there to share this moment with him.

It is hard to pick out photos to blog sometimes. I took a LOT of photos for this event but I decided to go with mostly just highlighting the birthday boy.

They had a big outdoor cookout/party for him, with hot dogs, hamburgers, cake and jump house!

 

They also have some chickens which were a big hit with all the kids.

Jackson got some fun time in the bounce house too!

He had lots of help opening all of his toys from his brothers and sisters.

He really enjoyed everyone singing to him and being the center of attention!

He wasn't to sure about the cake to begin with but soon warmed up to the idea.

It was lots of fun for everyone, and I'm sure his sugar high took a long time to wear off too!
