Charleston Beach Photographer, Dreaming of summer

This was a fun beach session I had in my mind for a while. Luckily I have a good friend that lives right near the beach and her kids get up super duper early and I was able to talk her into bringing them out to make my vision a reality.

I made the raft myself, with a little help from my handy husband.

How cute are these 2 little men!

I think this is the only time I have been happy that children like to wake up early.

Staples Family: Charleston area family photographer

This past weekend I met up with the Staples family at the James Island Yacht Club to take some family pictures. Mom wanted some updated photos to make canvases to hang in the house to replace some that were done pre Stevie.
It was such a lovely location and such a wonderful, energetic family!
It was so much fun capturing all the personalities in this family.

Thank you again Angie, Steve, Cari, Caitlyn and Stevie for the pleasure of taking your pictures!

Burr wedding 11/11/11: Charleston area wedding photographer

Jason and Jennifer, such a wonderful couple who in just a few days planned a gorgeous, intimate beach wedding. They could not have picked a more perfect day, the weather was amazing and you could just look at them and tell they were in love!
I loved being able to capture this special day for them and their family, especially since the extended family couldn't be there in person.

We also did a few pictures at Charleston Place hotel where they were staying downtown.
