Charleston Beach Photographer, Dreaming of summer

This was a fun beach session I had in my mind for a while. Luckily I have a good friend that lives right near the beach and her kids get up super duper early and I was able to talk her into bringing them out to make my vision a reality.

I made the raft myself, with a little help from my handy husband. 

How cute are these 2 little men!

I think this is the only time I have been happy that children like to wake up early.

Meet Little Misters Seth and Ethan, they came to see me at 18 days new. Momma was amazing and keep these babies in well past "normal" twins gestational age.

I know they say twins equal twice the work but these boys decided to go easy on me! Thanks boys! 

I mean look at this Momma. Amazing, she has these 2 little men and a 2 year old too!

Charleston custom Newborn Photographer, girls can play baseball too!

Little Miss Carleigh came to see me at 5 days new and she was so good. Look at how amazing she looks in all this pink. The sash is from her momma's maternity session.

Her daddy is a baseball player so I knew I had to do something to honor that. I think it turned out pretty darn cute!

She did like to keep an eye on me and what I was up too.

Newborn photographer, handsome little man

Mister Danny came to see me at 10 days new. He was such a good little man and a great poser!

He let me try a few new wrapping techniques and I loved the results. 

I met his momma and big sister at my daughter's little gym class and I am honored she chose me to take his newborn photos.

How cute are these 2, Mom and Dad are going to have their hands full! 

He also as the first newborn I did the "froggy pose" on. He did great and Mom was a great helper with it!

This couple was so much fun. We had a blast "sneaking" around downtown to get some great historic shots.

This Momma was glowing, so stunning! 

I loved how playful and fun these 2 were together and how excited they were about their little lady!

Mr Finley came to see me at 9 days new. He was such a good boy and a great poser. Look at home cute that little face is!

I just love this hat he is wearing in this photo. I love bright colors and I love when parents are okay with those colors for their babies!

Superhero, newborn session in Charleston, SC

Mr Ryder came to see me at 14 days old. He was not all that keen on sleeping but I do always win!

Daddy is a big comic fan so Momma brought this cute set up and I was of course happy to get a photo of him in it. How cute does he look?

I love when Momma and Daddy want to be in some of the photos. It is such a special time to document! 

He just wanted to keep an eye on me, and can you say Mini Daddy!

maternity family session near Old Wide Awake Plantation

I can thank my family photographer for showing me this beautiful "secret" location in Hollywood, SC near Old Wide Awake Plantation. It is beautiful and rely no one knows about it!

I had the pleasure of photographing this lovely family, who I met through my daughters Little Gym class.

They are hilarious and so easy to work with!

Little cowboy custom newborn session Charleston, SC

Mr Brantley was such a good boy for his session. I love when I get those sweet baby smiles and he did not disappoint! I mean look at how cute he is here?

 Sometimes these wraps are the hardest to get because laying on their back like this they have that reflex to jump and it wakes them but he rocked this pose!

I am of course quite a bit partial to this setup. My little man used this for his newborn session and I knew Brantley's daddy shares my affinity for horses so I knew I had to do this one for daddy!

Twin maternity session in historic downtown Charleston, SC

This beautiful momma is due with twins. We did her session at the historic White Point Gardens and the surrounding streets and houses! It is one of my favorite locations to use because of the different backgrounds it offers. 

If I can remember correctly she was around 30 weeks here but measuring over 40 weeks already! She was a trooper as it was hot and we did a bit of walking. 

Their little family was so cute, and Mr Robbie there is going to be a great big brother!

I remember Mom saying she wanted to make sure she was "big enough" for the photos, I think we succeeded in that. 

She actually keep those 2 boys in longer than any twin momma I know. I kept expecting to get an email that she had gone into labor but no!
